TapNTune updated to version 1.1

TapNTune, the freeware single-window combination Metronome and Tuner for Macintosh just got updated to version 1.1.  Among the most important improvements, are a division selection interface and significantly expanded tuner features including calibration, slow/fast select, and a pitch tracker that goes much lower than the previous.  Here is a full list of changes:

Fixed problem with About icon not loading
Menubar redone to include File, Windows and Help menu
Choice of Sine or Saw wave for synthesizer in tuner
More percussive attacks for metronome
Adjustable pitch tracker ballistics; variable between Slow and Fast
Old pitch tracker exchanged for one that can track a broader range of input
Added key shortcuts for all functions
Added ability to mute any of the divisions in the metronome
Added shortcuts to all Extra menu items
Keyboard shortcuts changed for metronome including Spacebar for on/off and M for mute
Input meter for tuner added
Keyboard switches display range at correct place
Version checker included
Default tune gain changed / general volume boost for Tuner
Taller application window and other minor interface changes, including a border around meters
Calibration capabilities added – between 380 and 480 Hz for A4
Separate tone picker for Tuner, not the same as display box as it had been
Audio Preferences menu added
Keyboard shortcuts help window added
Ability to change input and output drivers and sources from within TapNTune
Application icon changed  (see below)

TapNTune also got a custom icon designed by Jesse Jackson over at Pattern86.com. He does amazing work, and his new icon was very much appreciated. See it below, and in the TapNTune interface.
