It's a pretty tight fit and needs to be pressed on, because it will need to hold itself and trust me, you don't want it to sit too loose. If you ordered the right year, than there is no reason it shouldn't fit. It is pretty tight though. I fastened the rubber and then glued afterwards, I think. I am wondering how the edges on the door sill were put into place. The rubber carpet edging seems a little thin to accept the rounded metal lip on the sill.
