MouseMusic2, from the archives: a drawing synth for live and recorded audio mangling
By Jaems • Sep 30th, 2008 • Category: SoftwareMouseMusic2 is similar to MouseMusic, but it uses live or recorded audio files. In order to use MouseMusic2, follow these steps:
1) Turn Audio on
2) Load sound file
3) Choose File type to save
4) Press Record and mess around
5) Turn Record off, your file has been saved
As is the case with MouseMusic, you can control the drawing with Midi continuous controllers 7 and 10. You can also use the space bar to start and reset the playback if it gets jammed. You have to remember to choose file type each time otherwise it won’t work. Also, if you choose a file type without giving it a new name, it will overwrite the last one you did, so remember to give it a new name.
